If we want to address message from Nortel meridiam to Unity, do we also have to setup something on the maridian just like we have to configure something in the unity to address message from unity to meridian. Just want to confirm this because the cisco document only talks about how to setup Unity.
Second question, how does incoming AMIS works? Cisco document says to use call routing and call handler, but it seems not very clear.
I just went thru the same thing with AMIS. You have to make sure that the Meridian is setup for AMIS networking and make sure that the SYSTEM Access Numner in the meridain matches the Delivery location defined in Unity ..
the same number that anybody else uses to call Unity from outside. When the Meridian hears the Unity opening greeting it will send a C tone indicating to Unity that it is an AMIS call and Unity will respond with a D tone and switch to the AMIS conversation to handle the call.
