AAR and forward to vm

when wan in congestion, AAR kick off and call is successfully reroute from pstn to the destination.

But in a particular case, when in congestion mode, a PSTN call made to ip phone and forward to voicemail, AAR also work, but it goes into opening greeting instead of mailbox. How to fix this?

If I understand you correctly, what you are saying is that when a call comes into a site and is forwarded to voicemail over AAR they get the general greeting (asks for mailbox number and then password).

if this is true it is probably one of two things, or both:

1. Your DID number for unity is pointing to the general greeting or default call handler and will never go to the mailbox.

2. Your Unity user profiles do not have an alias setup for the Fully masked AAR extensions that are dialing in (777-555-XXXX). You can go into each user and add their Full masked numbers as Alias's in their profile. (we had to set these up for people who have their cell-phones forwarded to their desks because Unity always keys in on the "called number", disregarding the forwarding number.

If you have the internal greeting setup to answer your DID and you have your Unity profiles setup to reflect the AAR Mask as an alias, you should work just fine.
