This question relates to the following setup:
-Head Office gateway with E1 interfaces
-Branch Office gateway has FXO and FXS interfaces
-IPWAN connection from HO to BO
-CallManager 4.1.3
I am trying to use AAR to re-route calls places from HO to the BO via the PSTN when the bandwidth has run out as determined by the location setting. I am able to successfully control the number of calls over the IPWAN but can't get ARP to work when placing additional calls.
I have enabled AAR in the clusterwide parameter settings, created an AAR group to provide the access code and configured the external phone number mask for the Branch office DN which is on an FXS port.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I am missing?

did you configure your "Location" on CCM so you can test AAR?
also check Service Parameter->Callmanger that Automated Alternate Routing is enabled:True.

Yes I mentioned all that in my post. I set up the "Location" for the branch office and that part is working fine. I get the message 'NOT ENOUGH BANDWIDTH' when oversubscribing.
I also enabled AAR by setting the parameter to true.

Have you also made sure than an AARCSS is configured and has access to proper route patterns (should match a pattern without any FAC or CMC, TEHO etc).
