Abbrviated Dialing for more then 100 nos..

Hi All,

By default IP Phones have 100 speed dials/abbreviated dialing.

Sys Specs: CUCM 6.1

Scenario:More than 100 same speed dials/abbreviated dial required to be configured for all the users. Most of the speed dials are International calls for which not every user is allowed.

Problem:How to allow users not having International call facility to have speed dials for specific International numbers?

looking forward to every1 for sharing their value able experience on this!!

the only way we grant/deny access for calls are CSS and partitions.

speed dials use the same info from line/device to make a call, they're not different from any regular dialing just "speed" dials

if your plan is to allow them only to dial when using the speed dial, then you need to use a CSS that can reach the intl route pattern, but that gives them access to any intl they can dial.

if you really want to do this, then create +100 exact route patterns, each and every single one in a different partition and add those to the CSS from the user needs restriction.
