Able to get only one way voice in VOIP Setup...

Basically this is how our n/w setup is:

[Extn:2001]----->PBX--E1 CAS--->2600---Fast Ether-(10.1.1.2)--->Switch-----<>Call MANAGER(10.1.1.1)

|

|

|

IP Phone(Extn:7004)

We configured 2600 as h323 gateway and the config of the 2600 as follows:

controller e1 1/0

linecode hdb3

clock source line

framing no-crc4

voice-port 1/0:0

no shut

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 2xxx

port 1/0:0

dial-peer voice 4 voip

destination-pattern 7xxx

session-target ipv4:10.1.1.1[call manager Ip address]

interface fastether 0/0

ip add 10.1.1.2 255.255.255.0

no shut

We have the call flow established from the analog telephone(from 2001) to ip phone(7001). But other way round is not happening i.e

frim IP-Phone to Analog phone.

Any guess what might be going wrong with this setup...we configured the route pattern as 9.xxxx in call manager for this gateway.

Please do advice if any more changes are needed.

Re: Able to get only one way voice in VOIP Setup...

Can you try changing the destination-pattern in dial-peer voice 1 pots to 2... X is a wildcard in call manager and . is wildcard on router. You also need to add prefix 2 to that dial-peer. Your problem is that what ever you explicitly match on a pots dial-peer is stipped. So you are only sending the ... to the pbx and not the 2.

Thank you,
