AC busy trigger

Hi,

I have a very simple AC hunt group, but it's not working as I want to. I'm running CCM 4.1(3).

It's a first avaliable HG.

There are just two lines in the group:

1. line 1 on reception phone

2. voicemail

The busy trigger is set to 8 on the line, but the receptionsist can only receive one call at a time. All other calls go straight to voicemail.

Is there any way of increasing the number of concurrent calls on a line for AC?

One way to solve the problem is to give the receptionist an additional line(s) on their phone and make the line(s) another member of the hunt group. With a 7940, the receptionist could handle 2 calls. With a 7960, they could handle up to 6 calls.

Brandon is correct, the way it works for you is per design, becuase of JTAPI limitations you cannot send more than one call to the same DN, so you need to assign multiple unique DNs to the reception's phone and list all of them in the hunt group.
