Hi there,
I am deploying IP telephony across a WAN and my WAN guys are asking what is the maximum jitter I will accept. I have read all the CCO documents I could find but no guidelines as to an acceptable jitter range for AVVID.
I am using 79xx phones and 12.2 IOS MGCP gateways with default playout.
I have the "150ms" figure for delay, but nothing for jitter.
Thanx,
Eric Morgan

From Cisco Networkers 2002 in Orlando in the handout for the session entitled " Design Guidlines for Voice over IPSec VPN Deployments"
Packet Loss <=1%
Delay<=60ms One Way
Jitter<=20ms
Maybe not exactly what you needed but the quickest thing I could come up with. If I see anything else I will pass it on.

Hello Eric,
I found a Cisco pdf that states
loss<1%
delay 150-200ms
jitter 30ms
