Accepting incoming calls w/VG200 and CallManager

Good morning, I currently have a VG200 with 4 FXO ports connected to 4 POTS lines. I am able to place calls using my Cisco 7940 IP Phones through the outside POTS network and place interoffice calls between the extensions. I am unable to recieve calls though. Whenever I call one of the lines hooked up to the VG200, it rings once and then gives a dial tone which you can then dial out from. I would like it to send the incoming calls to my Call Manager and ring on all my phones. Please help, thanks in advance!

It looks like that your router config is not good. your config should be like this.

!

voice-port 1/0/0

no comfort-noise

connection plar 2000

!

voice-port 1/0/1

no comfort-noise

connection plar 2001

!

voice-port 1/1/0

no comfort-noise

connection plar 2002

!

voice-port 1/1/1

connection plar 2000

!

!

!

!

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern .T

port 1/0/0

forward-digits all

!

dial-peer voice 2 pots

preference 1

destination-pattern .T

port 1/0/1

forward-digits all

!

dial-peer voice 3 pots

preference 2

destination-pattern .T

port 1/1/0

forward-digits all

!

dial-peer voice 69 voip

incoming called-number .

destination-pattern 2...

The connection plar 2000,2001,2002 ... should be the number on your IP PHONE, when calls comes in than call manager will route the callt omain phone line on your IP PHONE. than in your call manager you can configure to ring on all phones.

Re: Accepting incoming calls w/VG200 and CallManager

I shouldn't be too worried with 'destination-pattern .T ' correct? Also would:

dial-peer voice 69 voip

incoming called-number .

destination-pattern 2...

session target ipv4:10.69.99.2

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

codec g711ulaw

no vad

!

Apply to my application? Thank you for your response!

Re: Accepting incoming calls w/VG200 and CallManager

You should not be worried for destination pattern. But you should have the Dail-peer so that in comming calls can be routed to Call manager i.e.10.69.99.2 in this case.

Re: Accepting incoming calls w/VG200 and CallManager

No luck, below is my configs. What's happening is I'm calling the POTS number that's plugged into voice port 1/0/0 with my cell phone, it rings once, then gives a dial town.

voice-port 1/0/0

output attenuation 0

echo-cancel coverage 16

connection plar 2000

!

dial-peer voice 1 pots

application mgcpapp

port 1/0/0

forward-digits all

!

dial-peer voice 100 voip

incoming called-number 360xxxx (Phone number for POTS line)

session target ipv4:10.1.1.2

!

I have DirN 2000 setup as a Pilot Point in call manager. Is there any other way to get a DN that sends to all phones? Thanks, Dan.
