Active Directory and CCM integration

I am integrating Active directory 2003 with Call Manager 3.3. AD container contains all the user information including the 10 digit phone number for the users.

When IP phone users browse thru the coporate directory and press dial, I believe call manager is going to dial all 10 digits which is not going to work.

is there anyway we can edit the phone number to 4 digit extn after we import it from AD.

Or if there is any other solution, Please let me know.

Maybe you can try with Route Plan/Application Dial Rules to remove certain digits while dialing... So, CCM will see and dial 10-digit number but rule will remove all but last 4 digits :).
