Active Directory Integration Causing 'apparent' duplicate users

I have a callmanager 4.1(3)server which had several existing users configured locally with extension mobility profiles(named identically to users). This callmanager cluster was then integrated with active directory which contained those users plus many others named identically.

Now when searching for the users on callmanager by name(it appears to contain 2 users with the same name for those users who were already there locally, however only one contains a userid, and the other generates an error if clicked on. If I do a blank search for all users the duplicates are not there. Very wierd! I am not sure if the old users should be overriden now it is integrated with AD, or whether this is just a cosmetic issue?

Any ideas!

Every user has a unique SID. find the SID of the missing users and rename the user.
