I have a customer who is currently using Active Voice and would like to implement VoIP for a few users. They will be using Callmanager. Is there a way for Active Voice to work with Callmanager, and if not they will buy Unity for a few users but for the rest would still like to use Active Voice. Can Active Voice interact with Unity?
Active Voice had a number of products... Repartee, Replay, Replay Plus, early versions of Unity... which product line are you talking about? If it's Unity, which version are you talking about? If it's 2.4.6 you can make it fly with CM, if it's an earlier version than that, they'll have to upgrade.
Are they using an Active Voice version of Unity? If yes, what version of the product are they using. This link will help you know what versions of the Unity product can interact with what versions of Call Manager-
If the customer is not using the Unity product but using Repartee, then they will need to address the interoperability questions to the http://www.activevoice.com/ site. Unity and Repartee can talk to each other through the AMIS protocol.
Thank You. The customer is not using Unity at the moment. But they wanted to know if their current Active Voice voicemail will interact with either Callmanager alone or if not with Unity. I will check the sites.
