Add more Exchange server

I have Unity 3.1 with Exchange 5.5 running on two separate machines. The client is expanding and want to join 16 more exchange servers with Unity. Is this possible? Do I need to do a rebuilt Unity? Do we have any documentations for doing this?

Re: Add more Exchange server

Hi

Unity points to 1 server (it's so called bridgehead server) and the messages for users that are homed on other servers in the same site can be delivered because of the digital networking capabilities of Unity.

See this extract

Requirements for Setting Up Digital Networking

The key to Digital Networking is that all the Cisco Unity servers access a common directory. To use Digital Networking, the Cisco Unity servers must be in one of the following configurations:

The same Active Directory forest.

The same Exchange 5.5 site.

Different sites within the same Exchange 5.5 organization, but with Exchange message and directory replication connectors installed. (Without the message and directory replication connectors, Digital Networking does not work.)
