Adding Exchange Subsriber

I am running Unity 3.0(2), with Exchange 5.5 installed on an NT 4.0 box. When I try to add an existing exchange subscriber, when I search for a user, I get two runtime errors: line 1045, expected ';' and line 2632, object expected. I can add a new exchange subscriber and it works and show up in exchange, so it seems to be communicating fine that way. Any help would be appreciated.<br><br>

Hmmm... I'll have to have the client folks look at that error and speculate on what the problem might be. In the meantime, can you try to import existing Exchange users using the import utility (under the Unity program group) for me?

That works. must just be something with the web stuff.

For one of the guys you imported via AVImport, can you email me their DirectoryID string? I think I may know what the problem is here and it's probably a simple bug with the parser. It could be a single or double quote somewhere in the directory ID causing the parser to choke.

If you can open up DOHPropTest (found under \Commserver\TechTools), don't enter a password and select Ignore it'll come up in read only mode. Select the MailUsers collection on the left and then select a user you had to import with AVImport. Select the AVP_DIRECTORY_ID property on the right and copy the string value at the bottom for me... if you could just email it to me that would verify one way or the other what the problem is.

thanks much

I am having the same problem w/ the exact same environment. Was there a resolution to the problem of adding new subscribers from the SA GUI? I need to get this working for my customer. Thanks

Yes, this turned out to be a problem on Ex55 systems that had a space in the org name or site name which tripped up some change made in SA-land in the 3.1 line. There is a fix available for this from TAC and I believe it'll be available as part of the 3.1(2b) release on CCO next week but you'll get it faster by contacting TAC.
