Address Book and fast dial

I was able to configure Fats dial and My address book. But when I confiugred the fast dial and users entries in the user page it does not updates in the phone . It does not show up any entry . My URL for personal address is http://servername/Ciscowebs/ipphoneservices/personaldirectory/xmlfastdials.asp. I did not find any where <CCMPD >directory. I don't know ,is that the reason. Do you know where the users databases stored?

Need to check a couple of things...

1. Do you have the user in the Global Directory associated with the phone? When you log into the users page with the userid and the password, you should see the phones mac addressl

2. When you subscribe the phone to the Fast dials service, you need to make sure the user id and the pin number are correct.

3. Once you update the address book, you need to click on fast dials and then assign it to a position from the users web page.

As far as the user database, it is stored in an LDAP database on the server. The best way to administer this is through the CallManager administration under the Users tab.

Hi Rick,

yes I have associated the users with the phone. I can see the MAC Address.I reconfigured the pin. I will try to setup the new userid. Is there any other setting which I should check?
