4006 with a gateway module.

All of the analog devices worked fine until we changed to PRI.

What did we miss?

Did you do any re-wiring? How do you mean your analog devices no longer work?

Are you wanting to point the PRI DID's or numbers to the analog devices in the Flex slot?

Are you using H323 or MGCP?

if you need to email me do so at jose.cantu@josecantu.com. Thanks,

We did not re-wire

When you dial 9 (escape digit) you no longer get dial tone. I understand this is because ISDN is out of band.

Yes we want to use the FXS ports on the flex slot.

We are using H323.

I am wondering how the PRI connection can route calls from non ISDN devices.

It has to be the progress indecators?

Thanks for the help

Outbound calls CCM...

If you are using a call manager then you would simply make a route pattern (9.@ with pre-dot) and attach it to that gateway. Make sure that route pattern is reachable by your phones.

Outbound calls H323 from analog ports...

If no call manager is in use, you need configure your dial-peers... i.e.

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 9T

port 2/0:23

Lastly of course make sure the analog ports are enabled and have dsp resources. The progress indicators are good to have on a terminating dial-peer i.e. if your faxing to one of the fxs ports...

i.e.

dial-peer voice 2249 pots

description Outbound call leg for dial-p 2241 for Fax

preference 1

destination-pattern 2249

progress_ind alert enable 8

progress_ind progress enable 8

progress_ind connect enable 8

port 4/0

Also issue the show voice dsp command and see if you have any dsp resources left for those devices.
