I have Call Manager 3.2.2C SPF. The customer has multiple phones with ringing DISABLED shared lines. Is there a way to stop the Alert Tone for the shared lines from beeping in the handset for every new call? Thanks

In Service Parameters set field ToneOnCallForward = False.

Thanks for the reply. The only problem is that that service parameter is global, and it prevents legitimate tone alerting for ringing lines as well.

I think that is the Call Waiting indicator. You can turn off call waiting, and that should solve the problem.

No, you can do this on each phone seperately. you will see a setting for call waiting, turn it to off
