alias already exists

Unity VM 4.03.

If we delete a subscriber then recreate it, the unity doesn't allow us to add it with the message:" this alias already exists", but for sure this subscriber has already been deleted. No problem to add a new subscriber. Is this a bug? How to fix it?

I don't think this is a bug. If you run the Unity Tools and select "Remove Subscriber Properties" against the account you deleted you should be able to import that user back into Unity. Hope that helps.

When you delete a subscriber, it doesn't delete the external account (AD/Exchange). Once it's been added, you would have to remove the account from AD/Exchange to re-add the same thing, or you can just re-import the account.
