Has anyone out there actually seen working Caller ID coming from an NEC 2000IVS2 ? I've got a PBX vendor saying it can't be made to do it (even though it's doing Caller ID on the inbound PSTN PRI right now).
I'm doing T1-CAS(E&M) to the PBX right now, so I understand the limitations there. But, even if we were to add another PIM and a PRI interface, they're saying it still CAN'T work, no matter what we do.
Next step is to stick the gateway router out between the PBX and the PSTN, but I'd really rather avoid that if possible.
