Customer wants to utilize a behavior of the forwarding ANI from pre 3.3. Where the forwarded calling party's ANI was displayed to the calling p
arty. Example: receptionist or employee calls to Sales Rep A, if Sales Rep A is on the primary line, the call will roll to the secondary line. This secondary line has a DN that is different than the primary, and therefore the receptionist or employee knows this Sales Rep is on the primary line. She drops that call then at atttempts to call Sales Rep B.
We are supposedly running into bug CSCdr17932
Any ideas as to how to work around this? THe customer has used this feature for the last 2 years and this has crippled the way that they do business.
