Would CRC, abort, and input errors affect quality of voice?.. choppyness, echo, etc? Thanks for any help

Yes! Sure. CRC/Abort/Input errors mean that you are loosing packets. And as voice packets are sent through UDP, there's no retransmission; so packet loss. Packet loss will cause choppiness. Echo is a result of high delay in the IP network and can be faced by a proper configuration of QoS (to reduce queue delays). In fact, in some configurations, echo cannot be totally eliminated, but it can always be reduced.
