Hi everyone;
I have a AS5300 Connecting to a E1 - R2. and I receiving calls from a partner (using an AS5300 connect to a ISDN switch), but he is asking for an Answer supervision, because he seems to have an ASR of 100%.
Is it possible to have Answer Supervision with R2 Protocol ?

E1 R2 protocol provides answer supervision. Have a look at the following URL for details of how R2 works:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/signalling/e1_r2_sig.html
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/signalling/e1r2config.html
The AS5300 would be getting an answer indication on the E1 R2 trunk from the external device, then passing this answer signal to the originating side.
What is the AS5300 connected to, and does it provide the indication that the call was picked up?

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your help !
I had already make this configuration, as showed below, but the client has not been seeing the connect, busy, no answer response.
DO you think there are another configuration to make ?
controller E1 1
framing NO-CRC4
clock source line primary
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled
