This is one of those “proceed at your own risk” things, our support people can't help you with problems you might run into. We simply cannot test every anti virus package out there, obviously… We’ve tried Trend’s ScanMail and some of our field test sites have tried various other versions. I have not heard of anyone running NetShield specifically… In general this should be reasonably safe with a reputable anti virus program but Active Voice simply cannot give you a blanket OK to drop any one of them onto your box and go.
Same deal with tape backup programs. We are concentrating on qualifying one or two of the bigger ones out there and we’ll publish our findings when we’re done.
