ART /CDR rating engine

Does any of you know if it is possible to configure the rating engine according to the Call Type?

The only options that seem available are the duration, time of day and voice quality.

Just duration, time of day and voice quality at this point. You might file an enhancement request with your Cisco rep to add call type. If there's enough demand for it, they might add it.
