As5300 voip recovery on timer expiry

Hello everyone:

I am connecting with h323/voip gw and i am getting the recovery on timer expiry ISDN disconnection code.

I followed the configuration instructions on cisco:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk701/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094487.shtml

But the problem remains the same.Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Cesar

Hello, do you have a "debug isdn q931" on the router? It will help us to troubleshoot furthur.

Thanks,

Re: As5300 voip recovery on timer expiry

Seen something very similar to this! I have to admit that this was for MGCP configuration and we saw this issue only for international and mobile numbers.

It seems (in CCM v3.1) that timer T302 is really the one expiring but we will need to see the earlier debug messages to confirm that - your debug extract looks correct!

Our findings were that if CCM does not get a response from the carrier (in the form of an INFO frame or another type for that matter) within the T302 timer for this number CCM initiates the DISCONNECT. We developed a work around to force these long distance and mobile numbers to use enbloc signalling so that a sending complete was sent with the call setup. This told the carrier that the dialling digits were complete and route the call. You'll need a route pattern something like "9.0!", or more for greater control.

Also, when testing make sure that you do your dialling off-hook, otherwise you will not see the real sequence and timing of events!

Re: As5300 voip recovery on timer expiry

Here is a more complete debug output, hope this helps.

What do you mean by a router pattern? a destination pattern?

and by dialling off-hook you mean to place a real phone call not a simulated

one like with csim..?
