I am using a Cisco ATA-186 with a MC3810 gateway. It works great with the G711 and G729 codecs, but refuses to connect using the G723 codec. The ATA LBRCodec, TX and RX Codec options are all set to 0 (zero). When I try to make a call using the G723 codec, the call appears to proceed normally, but it looks like the ATA disconnects the call as soon as both ends are connected. The debug shows that the codec is successfully negotiated, and H.225 is successfully established. Has anyone had any luck with this?
