my ata 186 does not want to work. it retrieves its ip-address from the dhcp, and i can ping it. but neither a plugged-in phone works, nor the built-in web server responds. what did i do wrong ? i've read through all the manuals, but nothing helps...

Try to dial 80# on the phone and then try to access the web server. Here is the documentation:
