The ATA 188 is very similar to the ATA 186. The key difference is that it will have a second RJ45 10/100BaseT data port (whereas the ATA 186 has only a single RJ45 10BaseT uplink port).

I believe the Cisco ATA 188

will also support 2 simultaneous VoIP calls using G.729 codec.
