Hi,
I have the following question. Theoretically 2 ATA 186's with h323 image on them, should work Peer2peer if they are eachothers h323 gateway. I do't have at the moment 2 ATA's but can someone confirm me this practically ?
I've tried with router and ata and it works.
Thank you and best regards,
Zsolt

Connect some type of L2 switch ( or a cross cable also should work) between the 2 ATA's, physically. Also, make sure that each ATA has been configured such that they have correct static IP addresses and subnet masks that are on the same IP subnet with each other. Remember to also make each of the ATA's using the static route that points to the others' IP address (this will act as its each ones default gateway). That should work for you, Its similar to connecting two NICs back to back.
