ATA, lost packets and collisions

Could you post an example of a configuration for a port on a switch that is used for connecting ATA186 box.

Should it be FullDuplex, HalfDuplex or Auto

Should it be Speed 100 or Speed 10

Is there some other configuration that I should use ?

We have over 180 ATA's deployed at a current client and we have been doing fine having it set to auto. Remember, no matter which way you go with your speed/duplex settings it is crucial to have the port on the switch and the device match. Auto on both sides or hard coded on both sides. The ATA186 defaults to Auto, I am guessing that you are experiencing collisions because you are hard coded to 100 full on the switch side.
