We have 2 links point to point with routers 805, we are thinking to put you ATA´s in both extremes and to establish connections of voice among these teams. It is possible to do this?
Yes, it is possible, but you need H.323 protocol on your ATA because this protocol has the intelligence to do point to point conections MGCP not. Also you need to review about Dial Plan on ATA to do it.
i am trying to setup a voip network based on ata boxes for many locations.So my query is to dial one to many from ata this gatekeeper is compulsory or call manager will do the same function.Since gatekeeper is costing around 10000$ with 2600 series router how can i reduce this cost.If i install 2600 series router with gatekeepr license at head office and other locations with 805 router with ata boxes connected will it be a viable solution. mainly i want to give the cost effective solution..will ata boxes will work with call manager to dial to many locations..?..
