ATA186 behind firewall, using NAT *& H.323

Hi folks,

I really appreciate any help on this one.

I'm trying to connect an ATA186 (private address) behind the firewall to a gatekeeper in front of the firewall (public address). The firewall is PIX.

I managed to configure SIP with no problem, but I have to use H.323 with NAT & PIX.

Is this possible?

From a protocol analyzer I can see ATA sending GRQ and RRQ but nothing else.

Is the -- fixup h323 1720 -- enough for the PIX in this situation?

I know too many question yet I have to find a solution soon.

thanx for any help.

You need the PIX to support NATed RAS messages then, since you are talking to a gatekeeper:

I am unsure where this was introduced for the pix, but it is in IOS version 12.2(2)T for IOS.
