ATA186 with CCM 3.2 in Skkiny - 1 line is ATA186 other is 7960?

Hi all,

I have ATA186 working with CCM3.2 i Skkiny protocol,

both line are registered , but one of the lines apear as ATAXXXXXXXXXXXX

and the other SEPXXXXXXXXXXXX.

Is it the default or is it a wrong configuration?

Is there any way to make them appear as ATAXXX.. on both line?

I see this:

Use the following procedure to add the second port on the Cisco ATA 186 to CallManager.

Drop the first 2 nibbles of the MAC address and shift the MAC address to the left, then add 01 to the right end of the MAC address.

For example 00070EA26032 is port 1 and 070EA2603201 is port 2.

Use this new MAC address from above and start over at step 4.

Hi,

As Crieman said, you have to install the ATA manually.

Our experience with the ATA:

Always use latest softwareversion,

not use auto registration, because sometimes the ATA-18x will be recognized as 7960 phone and then there are two entries in the CM.

1) ATA

2) 7960
