Attendant console and softphone

This maybe a simple question but does the receptionist need a physical phone or can they have a

soft phone /cipc if they are using the attendant console software?

I thought that the CUACx Edition family varies on capacity and redundancy but functions the same, right?

I didn't mean the router based console.

Many ecosystem partners have attendant console offerings; Jaime was attenting to confirm which you are using.

In the case of CUxAC, IP Communicator is supported but not yet Jabber. This is documented in the Design Guide on page 54.
