Attendant Console cannot connect to Cisco Call Manager...

We use 4.1 CCM. Friday it was working fine, connecting with no issues. It would automatically load when you logged in. After the weekend, when you log-in, you get a dialog box saying 'connecting to the server', eventually timing out. I can ping the CCM server and access it with other methods, but AC cannot. Nothing has been changed on CCM. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check the status of the CTI|TCD service in all the cluster.

Check errors in EV in CCM.

If you try associating other station it works ?

Check the status of CCMLink in perfmon in CCM

Gather logs files:

Client PC trace:

Step1) Turn OFF the trace on Client PC and delete the "log" files (if it is already running).

C:\program files\Cisco\Call Manager Attendant Console\logs.

Step 2) Turn the trace ON:

Check the enable trace box:

Edit->Settings->Advanced->Enable Trace

Step 3) Make a notes of when the problem re-occurs

Step 4)Collect the traces:

C:\program files\Cisco\Call Manager Attendant Console\logs.

Step 5) Turn the trace OFF

Hello ,

Also try to check on the Firewall Configuration ( If you have one ) , i used to get the same issue and it appeared that the Firewall only permitted Ports 2000 & the TFTP Ports needed for IP Phones Registration. When i performed some digging and identefied the AC Ports and enabled them on the Firewall , it worked fine.

It seems a restart of the following services corrected this problem. Not sure what one actually fixed the problem since we restarted all at once...
