attendant console error

When I start AC on user desktop , I get the following message:

Error: KCTiProviderOpenFailure - cti application failed to open provider

login = ac

reason code: 1932787616

any suggestions


Re: attendant console error

1. On the CallManager server, choose Start > Run and enter cmd to open a command prompt

2. Type: PasswordUtils . This will generate an encrypted password,

copy and paste it in a notepad.

3. Then, again, Start > Run> Regedit

4. Browse to \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.\Directory Configuration

5. Delete the value CTIFWPW and paste the encrypted password from the notepad (step 3)

6. Restart the Telephony Call Dispatcher service by choosing Start > Programs >

Administrative Tools > Services. Select the service in the list; right click on the

service and then click Restart.

10. Repeat these steps for each CallManager server in the cluster.

Then, run the password changer:

1. Start > Run > cmd

2. Type: ccmpwdchanger

3. Enter the Administrator password and hit Next

4. From the UserID field, select the CCMSysUser

5. Enter and confirm the New password, which must match the encrypted password from the

previous procedure

6. Click Ok

7. Restart CTI Manager and TCD services

Check to see if the phone tied to your PC is associated with the ac user in CallManager.
