attendant consolr question

Now I connect attendat console server in CCM5.02,it prompts "Error communicating with server". Why ? I finid the CM pilot point Registration and Ip add state is unknow .maybe it the reason ?

Make sure the "Cisco CallManager Attendant Console Server" and "CTI Server" services are running, if they are try resetting them.

Also, did you configure the AC user and associated the AC pilot with it?

You need to add an entry for the callmanager server in the lmhosts file in the client PC that has the AC client installed. Make sure that you are able to ping both ways by name.

Thank you,jbarcena . After I add the entry in inhost file, it's ok. But I set the ip addresss not name in Attendant setting, why need add imhost ?
