Trying to do the same XML call to a 7920 phone as described in the previous email. Can someone outline the authentication procedures. We are running Call Manager 4.2.
Here is what we are doing/thinking now, please let us know what we are doing wrong.
1. We make a call to the IP address of the phone using an HTTP component. This component has a valid username, password of a phone user. The HTTP component has basic authentication turned on and this handled.
From this I get un authorized 401 error. From a slide of Callmanager 3.3 I found on the web, there is a CallManager Authorization URL. How does my call need to be linked into this? How is this setup, used? Is there a clean diagram of the communication requests?
