Auto answer on 7940

I am using a cisco 7940 ip phone in combination with ccme and I was wondering whether it is possible to automatically answer incoming calls. Thanks in advance!

There are at least a couple of options.

With CME 4.0 and later you can use the Headset Auto-Answer feature which allows auto-answer when the headset key is activated. See the following link.

Another option is to configure a DN as an intercom line which auto answers by default. There are some restrictions, such as the intercom DN can only be associated with one phone. Take a look at the following link.
