Auto Attendant in Unity

We are cutting over to a new phone system. We have 1 CM for the phone system and 1 Unity server (ver2.4.6) for voice mail. I'm trying to set up the system so that every call that comes will get an auto attendant first. I know that it is done via call handlers, but how do I get the call to the call handler? Do I need to set a call route on the CM or do I need to set a route on the Gateway(3640 w/2 pri, H323) to send the call to the unity server instead of CM. <br>thanks<br><br>

Hi, I think that you need to route the number which your customers call you to the first voice mail port. You can do it on the callmanager with 'Translation Pattern' or on the gateway with num-exp.

Then you can configure one Call Handler which send all the incoming numbers that are coming through that voice mail port to the auto attendant.
