automatic CAR report by E-mail

CAR 3.3(0.45) with CCM 3.3(3)

The Top N Callls[daily] and Top N duration [daily] in Automatic Generation/Alert under Report Config Tab are enabled, and 2 dedicated E-mail recipients were configured in “To” Field in “CAR Database Alert”/CDR Database Alert menu under System Tab.

But the daily CAR Reports were sent to all staff in the corporate Exchange system, not just to the configured dedicated E-mail recipients.

And I could not find CCO documents where explicitly indicates the E-mail recipients for the automatic CAR reports.

Very appreciated for any comments.

Re: automatic CAR report by E-mail

There should not be any problem in configuring as it is pretty staright forward. Email through CAR Mail ID-enter the e-mail identifier that will be used in the From field when e-mails are sent. Password-enter the password used to access the server running your e-mail system. Note: ART does not authenticate the user ID and password. You must disable authentication on the mail server or enter a valid user ID and password. So you can either use a valid user from the mail server or turn of authentication on the mail server. Also do check to see if you can ping the mail server from the Call Manager both with IP Address and with host name. Do check to see if you have entered the correct mail parameters for the domain.
