I am trying to set up automatic IP address selection for SoftPhone 1.2. I installed the Web installer on the CallManager server and can get to the default page from my browser. However, when I try to use automatic IP address selection in the SoftPhone, I get a message back saying that the SoftPhone is unable to get the IP address. When I put the URL (http://<IP address>/CiscoIpSoftPhoneInstall/getIp.asp) into my browser, I get an HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error. Any help would be appreciated.
Note that this is not case-sensitive. If you go to that URL and still get the 500 error, and you have verified that the getip.asp file actually exists in the correct location on the web server, try going to that server and restarting the IIS Admin service and do it again.
