Avaya ip phones compatible with Cisco Callmanager?
Has anyone tried to configure Avaya ip phones with Cisco Callmanager? I know some of the Avaya ip phones can support Cisco inline power. Can it be configured as a H.323 endpoint and registered with Cisco Callmanager?

Avaya phones are no more H.323 compliant than Cisco phones using SCCP. They tunnel their proprietary protocol over H.323. You can see in the docs that they say 'with proprietary extensions'. AV will demo Cisco phones running SIP - a great example of Cisco investment protection (no marketing intended, just fact).
