AvConvMsg_MC Error - Event ID: 10002

Does anyone know what this error means? It doesn't seem to be service affecting but we would like to get further details and have not been able to find any. This error was found in the Application Log on Unity 3.1(5).

The message rules it's talking about are the collection of greetings associated with call handlers and subscribers - looks like it went to get the active greeting (standard, off hours, busy, internal, alternate or error greeting) and didn't find a valid one.

One cause of this I've seen is if the standard greeting has somehow gotten disabled - this greeting should _always_ be active no matter what (you can't disable it in the SA for instance) but it's gotten disabled by various bugs in the past. If that were the case it's possible no valid greeting was found by the conversation to play so it tossed the call to the failsafe conversation which resulted in this error message.

If you run the latest version of dbWalker off www.CiscoUnityTools.com it'll bark about any call handler or subscriber that has a standard greeting rule that's not enabled (and fix it on the fly as well) which would tell you if that's the case here or not.

Of course it would be handy if the error message itself at least spit out the alias of the handler/subscriber in question here so you could narrow your scope a bit - think I'll wander over and have a chat with the conversation team about that in a sec...
