ok quick question, using PHP to cucm 4.1 I do a get user and load a user with 2000 associated devices. If I make a change and update the user, with say 1975 devices, when does that update happen? As each <device> is received? or when the entire data is received and ack'd
Once you get back the axl response. The request isn't processed until it is fully received - that's how webservices work in general - no, that's how networked apps work in general. Even when you send a mail, until your mail client has properly formatted and ended the message (I don't recall the details) nothing will be sent away.
Thanks for the information, I though that was the case, but did not want to assume that without at least asking. I would hate to work on something in the lab and then use it in production only to have weird things happen as the request was processed. :)
