B-ACD queue service stopping

According to the documentation to stop B-ACD service you enter the following commad:

Router(config)# call application session stop id 17

I don't see this as an available option in 12.4.3e. I modified "param aa-hunt3" to "param aa-hunt1" but it does not take an effect imidiately unless I reboot the router. I was hoping for an easier way.

Identify the session id of the queue application using:

Show call application session

then do

call application session stop id

and then:

call application voice load aa|queue

Only those parameters are failing to update?

I tried running this command from config mode, I guess you do it from enable mode instead.

This documenations states that it needs to be done from config t mode:

Router(config)# call application session stop id 17

Router(config)# call application session stop id 12

Thanks, this was the only parameter that I noticed which wasn't getting updated.

Rather than stopping the session, you can reload the files in flash using this command.

call app voice load

call app voice load

This should throw an output on command line, like "File read successfully". After this place a call and see if new settings are effective or not. It should!
