Backing Up the Publisher.

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to find information on alternative/supplements to BARS as a tool to backup the publisher. Can we use a third party package to backup the system itslelf and then periodically run BARS? Is there any info on this anywhere? I know we can use veritas with Unity but what about with the CCM?

Running third party clients on CM is not supported by TAC unless they fall in this list.

But lot of people prefer taking a full system backup using various third party tools, so that in case of a failure, rebuilding is easy.

Another recommendation will be, if your server supports drive removal feature, ghost the hard drive (primary hdd) and keep the image safe somewhere.
