Interested in networking two Unity boxes over a WAN, as well as pooling licenses. Servers will both be VMO, plan would be that they each have Ex2K on board, part of same AD forest and domain.
Any rules of thumb on estimating/controlling bandwidth utilization?

License pooling doesn't require any bandwidth because, again, the Unity servers don't talk directly to each other. They pull information about other Unity servers from the directory, and some of that information they pull is license pooling numbers.

Minimums have not been established. The key thing to note is that the data used to facilitate Digital Networking is all stored locally in SQL. Unity never goes directly to the directory during call processing. Since it never goes to the directory the time it takes for data to propagate across isn't too important just so long as it gets there at some point.
On a side note, when you install you want to start by making sure that both DCs are GCs before you install Unity. After than you can configure to AD sites to help schedule and control replication. Site to site replication is compressed as well. Once you get AD and Exchange happy you should then install Unity.
Hope this helps,

It does, thanks. Any specific bandwidth/delay requirements for license pooling?
