I have read through the all the info on "Barge" and cannot find any parameter that would achieve what you have proposed. This "Barge" feature is meant to be used with discretion and performs the same way on all systems that I have ever worked with. We currently use Nortel as well as Cisco CCM and Barge or Break-in works the exact same way on Nortel as well.My take on this is that Barge is working as designed.When a Operator uses this feature they should politely let both parties know that an extremely important call has arrived and that if they can disconnect from their current call this Emergency call will be put through.
