Hi,
we would like to able to have several billing IDs in our CDR. So you would be able to split your costs to serveral projects.
Any chance to do this with CM and MGCP-Gateways?
At the moment only a different partition name is logged in CDR.
We tried somethink like <prefix><billing-id>.<destination> and used a route pattern to transform that (discard predot) to 0<destination>, but it is not shown in CDR (not orignalCalledNumber).
Any hints?
Kind regards,
Axel

Hi Axel
I had about the same problem. Everything i did on the CCM did not show up in the CDR's. So i did the
digit manipulation on the gateway which worked.
On the gateway create a dial-peer pots on which you
cut of the prefix digits.
In my case i had special calls which i diald with a *10 ahead of the phonenummer. So i made a destination pattern of *10.T on the dial peer pots of the gateway.
Hope that is maybe a solution for you problem.

Roger

Hi Roger,
thanks for your answer.
We used that solution for H323-Gateways too. With MGCP you only have that MGCP-dial-peer and it does not use translation rules.
One solution we discovered, is to use different partitions, that is logged in CDR as originalCalledPartition ... but for every Billing-ID one partition is a little bit too much work....
Kind regards,
Axel

Hi Axel
Jep i did this with a H323 Gateway. I do not know well MGCP.
As you said with the partions it's much work.
So hopefully you find a solution and i will think about some other possibility.

Roger
