blank password for subscriber account

one of my client wants their subscribers having blank password.

can i set a blank password for a subscriber's account? i notice under account policy we can allow subscriber to have blank password, however when i reset the uesr password to blank, but when i access voice mail, it still prompt me for a passowrd. it still takes 12345 as the password. anyone has a solution?

First of all... blank passwords are really not a good idea... even if the customer things they're convinient, that's a reasonably large security hole and you should do you best to talk them out of it.

second, which version of Unity are you working with here? can you reset the phone password over the phone or via the SA/AA or do neither "stick"?

The BulkEdit utility does have the option for resetting everyone's password and it will allow you to force it to blank, you can go that route if you need to.
